Beginner running courses start in September

Daytime and evening learn to run courses are starting next month in Rickmansworth and Croxley Green. Aimed at total beginners our learn to run course is ideal for those who have always wanted to start running but never felt they were fit enough, fast enough or strong enough. If you've never run before, getting back into running or just want to get fit and meet other runners, this is the perfect way to start.
Follow the couch to 5k programme with the help of a qualified instructor who will guide you each week in a supportive group environment where no one gets left behind. The first week you will only need to jog a total of 60 seconds at any one time. This builds up week on week to get you up to jogging 5k after eight weeks.
All groups are led by a UK Athletics Leader in Running Fitness Instructor.
Classes take place:
- Mondays from 4-Sept for 8-weeks, 11:45am at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. Meet outside the Cafe in the Park.
- Tuesdays from 26-Sept for 8-weeks, 6.30pm at Baldwins Lane Playing Fields, Croxley Green. Meet outside the shops next to the playing fields. *Ladies only course*
- Tuesdays from 26-Sept for 8-weeks, 7.30pm at Baldwins Lane Playing Fields, Croxley Green. Meet outside the shops next to the playing fields. *Mens only course*
