The Policy and Scrutiny Committee welcomes contributions from members of the public to its discussion on agenda items.  Contributions will be limited to one person speaking for and one against each item for not more than three minutes.  Please note that, in the event of registering your interest to speak on an agenda item but not taking up that right because the item is deferred, you will automatically be given the right to speak on that item at the next meeting of the Policy and Scrutiny Committee.  Details of the procedure and the list for registering the wish to speak will be available for a short period before the meeting.

From 7.00pm a presentation giving an overview of the C-Plan Scheme by Sean Rendall, Head of Policy and Strategy, ECSC Ltd will take place in the Penn Chamber.  All Members are invited to attend the presentation.

SUBSIDISED LOFT AND CAVITY WALL INSULATION

 

This report details the anticipated numerical impact of the Council enhancing the existing Cocoon Insulation Scheme, by way of subsidy payment. This will enable residents, living in owner occupied and private rented accommodation, to insulate their properties at a further reduced cost on the existing discounted scheme. The report suggests funding a pilot initiative to gauge local interest and monitor take-up.
