The Committee welcomes contributions from members of the public to its discussion on agenda items. Contributions will be limited to one person speaking for and one against each item for not more than three minutes. Details of the procedure and the list for registering the wish to speak will be available for a short period before the meeting.

APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT MEMBERS

 

The Solicitor to the Council to give an oral update on the appointment of Independent Members to the Committee for the next three years.

STANDARDS HEARING AND TRAINING

 

The Solicitor to the Council to report on the outcome of the hearing held into a complaint against Croxley Green Parish Councillor Cliff Vassilliou, held on 17 May 2006 and the training to be implemented.

ASSESSMENT OF STANDARDS OF CONDUCT

 

Attached is information concerning complaints received since 2002 on breaches of the Code of Conduct.

To note the contents of these newsletters and to consider the suggestion in Newsletter 28 that Standards Committees should have more than one representative from Parish Councils.
