WATERSMEET FILM SEASON TRIAL

In July 2014, the Council’s Policy and Resources Committee recommended to Council to change the ‘hire only’ policy which has in recent years restricted the events able to be hosted at Watersmeet.  This recommendation is to be considered at Full Council on 16 September 2014 and a verbal update will be provided to the Committee.  This was with the specific intention of enabling the trial of a short season of films making use of the new digital projection equipment and presented directly by the Council.

This report gives details of the proposed three-month trial of ‘Filmsmeet’ at the Watersmeet venue from January 2015.
