Cash for Croxley

Three community groups will each receive a slice of £2,000 from the Croxley Green Local Area Forum.  Over 40 residents voted last week to decide how the grant money would be spent.

£500 will provide a tool store for the Keep Croxley Green voluntary group
£500 will help the Friends of Croxley Common Moor buy a picnic bench for the woods
£1,000 will support the annual summer Croxley Revels celebrations on the Green.

Chairman Phil Brading said:

"This is an effective way for residents to decide how their village is run. The money will provide support for the local environment and a highly popular summer event."

All Local Area Forums receive grant money from the District Council each year.
