Youth Council to decide on grants at February meeting

Date:  24 January 2012

Members of the Three Rivers Youth Council will allocate their annual grant at the next meeting in February.

The next Youth Council takes place on Tuesday 7 February from 5.30-7pm in the Penn Chamber at Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth. Also on the agenda is mobile phone security, youth perception of crime and anti social behaviour as well as learning more about the Councils Environmental Protection team.

Young Person’s Champion, Councillor Ann Shaw, said; “This should be a really enjoyable meeting with lots of interesting topics to discuss and I would encourage more young people in the district to come along to a Youth Council meeting and play their part in making their voices heard and making a difference to their local community”

The annual grant is available to local groups or charities that provide services, facilities or support for young people in Three Rivers. Grant application forms can be download below. Completed application forms must be received by Friday 3 February.
