The Three Rivers Young Journalist of the Year competition is open for entries with budding young journalists having until Monday 4 October to submit their articles.

The competition, open to anyone aged under 19 who lives or goes to school in Three Rivers, must be written in a news report or feature article style and should be no longer than 300 words. The event must be true and have taken place in the last year, happening at the moment or will take place soon and must be all your own work. The winners will be announced at the next Youth Council on Tuesday 12 October 2010.
