Woodside Leisure Centre (Watford)

Woodside Leisure Centre is now open!

Special guests Sharron Davies MBE, Olympic and Commonwealth swimmer, and Richard Haughton, Saracens rugby player, helped open the centre along with elected Mayor of Watford, Dorothy Thornhill and Leader of Three Rivers District Council, Councillor Ann Shaw.

Three Rivers District Council has contributed £2 million towards the construction of the new site which includes a swimming pool and learner pool, a sports hall, a state of the art gym and over 100 excercise classes per week, a sauna, creche, cafeteria, and treatment rooms.

Three Rivers residents can benefit from this new first class facility.
Everyone Active rates will be charged at the same reduced rate as Watford Borough residents. These rates will vary depending on your personal circumstances but staff at Woodside can help you further or view the details on pricing here

To find out more about the centre and its excercise classes call 01923 892710 or visit  the Everyone Active website.

Free Gym: open to young people living in the Three Rivers district aged 11 to 16 years old.

If you don't have one of these you will need to ask your parent or guardian to provide an official document and go with you to register.

Before using the gym you must also pre-book a free 30 minute induction so you can be shown how to use the gym and fitness equipment safely. Induction sessions are avaialble during the dates above and can be booked by calling the centre on 01923 892710.

Once you've had your induction you simply turn up with your Everyone Active card during the specified times. You can use the gym for a maximum of one hour per day. If the session is full you will be given a wrist band that will give your preferential access to the next session.
