Woodlands Management Plan
Three Rivers District Council currently own over 240 hectares of woodland on sites from large Local Nature Reserve sites such as Oxhey Woods to small pockets of woodland adjacent to residential areas. The Council has been looking at how it manages these sites, which are important for both wildlife and public access and recreation.
Three Rivers District Council has been awarded the UK Woodland Assurance Scheme UKWAS for good woodland management and managing their woodlands sustainably. This has been further supported with the aid and advice of the Forestry Commission For further information regarding the woodland management please see the link below and view the woodland management plans.
