Watford and Three Rivers Health & Wellbeing Partnership was formed in 2008. It brings together partners from the public, voluntary and community sector to identify and respond to the health and wellbeing priorities in both areas. It is accountable to the Local Strategic Partnerships in Watford and Three Rivers.What are the priorities of the Health Partnership?


What are the priorities of the Health & Wellbeing Partnership?

The partnership has developed action plans for the local health and wellbeing priorities of Obesity and Tobacco Control. It is currently developing additional action plans for 2012 on the priorities of Mental Health, Older People (falls and fuel poverty), and Drugs and Alcohol.


Who is involved in the Health & Wellbeing Partnership?

Membership of the partnership Executive Group includes:

Herts Partnership Foundation Trust
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust
Hertfordshire County Council
Watford Borough Council
Three Rivers District Council
Watford CVS
Three Rivers CVS
Watcom
Hertfordshire Constabulary
Herts Fire and Rescue Service

The full partnership meets three rimes a year and is supported by the Executive Group which meets more frequently. Membership of the full partnership is open to any agency involved in health inequalities in the two areas. Membership of the Executive group is closed. Task and Finish Groups are established to develop action plans on specific priorities. These are open to relevant organisations.
