Permitted Development Rights for Microgeneration
The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2008 has been amended to allow various types of householder microgeneration. This covers solar panels, wind turbines, ground source heat pumps and combined heat and power systems. This only applies to residential properties.
