Street Sweeping
The Council is responsible for the sweeping of streets and removal of litter.
All shopping areas in the district are cleaned on a daily basis by the mobile "barrow beat" crews. Main roads are swept on a weekly basis and all other roads are swept once a month.

We are currently unable to publish our full street sweeping schedule as there are a lot of factors, out of our control, that affect when we are able to do this such as heavy rain and snow. We are however working on publishing a summer schedule.
We aim to sweep all the streets in the district on a regular basis.
