Sign online with Three Rivers District Council

Date:  16 December 2010

You can now begin or sign an e-petition and have your say via the website with the launch of e-petitions.

An e-petition is an online method of petitioning your local council to take action on issues or services that it has the power or duty to change and for bringing issues to the attention of our councillors.

Once a petition has been approved, other people can easily and quickly add their support – or objections - to live petitions, until a specified closing date.

Your e-petition should be relevant to some issue on which the council has powers or duties or on which it has shared delivery responsibilities through the Local Area Agreement or other partnership arrangement. A threshold of 25 signatures is to be applied to ordinary petitions and a threshold of 100 signatures will be applied to petitions in other categories.

If you are planning to start a petition please use the online e-petitions where possible. A full paper based petition service is also available.

For further information please view the e-petitions page or send an email to petitions@threerivers.gov.uk
