South Oxhey Initiative Masterplan

Date:  06 May 2012

Consultation on South Oxhey Initiative Masterplan

In January 2012 the Council’s Executive Committee agreed to take forward the redevelopment of South Oxhey Town Centre (the Precinct).

To inform plans for South Oxhey we have prepared a leaflet setting out details of how improvements for South Oxhey could happen including a land use plan which shows approximate amounts of different uses proposed for the centre and where these could be located.

How to have your say

We will be delivering a copy of the South Oxhey Initiative Masterplan to every property within the Watford Rural Parish Area over the next few weeks. You can make comments on the Masterplan by completing and returning pre-paid postage comment form at the end of the document.

Alternatively, you can view and download the document below and send your comments by email to trldf@threerivers.gov.uk or by letter to The South Oxhey Initiative,  Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, Herts WD3 1RL.  The masterplan is also available to view at the libraries across the District.

Introduction

With about 18,000 residents, South Oxhey and its surrounds is the largest residential area in Three Rivers. Built 60 years ago, the estate is due for further development over the coming years with the aim to update and improve facilities for the community.

Our long term approach includes 12 months of discussion and consultation with the people of South Oxhey and the surrounding area.  We will not be able to find the money to do everything that people would like, but, with your help, we will make best use of the funds available.

The South Oxhey Initiative includes Carpenders Park and Oxhey Hall.
