Refuse and recycling update

80% of Friday's refuse and recycling collections were completed on Saturday (19 December) following the snow. After a review by refuse and recycling staff at 3am today (Monday 21 December), crews are out catching up in areas they couldn't get to on Saturday. Crews have also started their normal Monday collections. 

 

Cabinet member for public services and health, Phil Brading, said:

 

"The snow came unusually early and our recycling and refuse collection crews have gone beyond the call of duty.
