Recycling Sites

The Household Waste Recycling Centres are managed by Hertfordshire County Council. These sites are located at:

• Riverside Drive, Rickmansworth
• Waterdale, A405, Garston

This site also has a collection bank for small domestic appliances, as follows;

Items accepted: Phones, computer keyboards, DVD players, toasters, kettles, hairdryers, electrical toys, electric toothbrushes, irons, remote controls, DIY electric tools, shavers, radios, video camera, clocks and watches, small kitchen appliances and small electric fans

Items not accepted are; TV monitors, computers, washing machines, cookers, light bulbs, batteries, general rubbish and anything that won't fit in the chute
