10. | REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO WASTE VEHICLES

| At the Public Services and Health Policy and Scrutiny Committee meeting of 23 July 2009, Members requested an explanation on how the adverse variance of £61,438 had occurred in the 2008/09 waste management cost centre, as shown in the budget monitoring report. In addition this report outlines why the anticipated savings on the repairs and maintenance contract as reported to the PS&H panel on 12 March 2009 will not be achieved from 2009/10 onwards. |

HEALTH SCRUTINY INTO OBESITY This report presents the findings of an investigation into levels of obesity in the County with a specific focus on Stevenage and Watford and on childhood obesity.
