Three Rivers District Council and its employees are subject to the Data Protection Act 1998. As such we are committed to maintaining your privacy in all your interactions with the Council.

We collect the following information:

• Web site usage information - we automatically collect information regarding the IP of visitors to our site. This enables us to monitor and analyse how visitors use the Council's web site and improve the service provide.
• Registration/Authentication - although it is not necessary to register to use the site, many of our current and future interactive services will require that you provide us with personal information. In addition to providing the requested service, we will use this data to improve the services we can provide.

Except for exceptional circumstances (e.g. at the legitimate request of law enforcement agencies) no personally identifiable data will be shared with a third party. Your data will be held on a secure server and access within the Council will be limited to those who need to know.
