Pensioners forum to feature transport and Olympics

Transport, health services, the Olympics and conservation are all on the agenda for the next Pensioners' Forum on Friday 26 October at 2pm.
Speakers will include Geoff Brown, the new Chief Executive of HealthWatch Herts, and David Neilan from the Hertfordshire Integrated Transport Partnership.
To talk about her experience as an Olympic Torch Bearer will be
resident Alice Beheny and District Council officers Daniel Monk and James Percy-Lancaster will be speaking about conservation of the 240 hectares of woodland which is managed by the Council.

There will be time for pensioners to raise any topical issues they wish. As usual, the meeting will be chaired by the Council's Pensioners' Champion, Paul Goggins and attended by Council Leader Ann Shaw. Tea and coffee are provided. The forum is held at Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth and runs from 2pm - 4pm. The Council building is fully wheelchair accessible and there is a hearing loop in the Council Chamber.
