National Curry Week is Sunday 21st November to Saturday 27th November
Abbots Langley can now lay claim to the best produced curry in Three Rivers after another Curry House was awarded five stars in our Scores on the Doors scheme.
Abbots Tandoori now joins Village Tandoori in Abbots Langley and Sathi in Chorleywood on our five star list after its latest inspection. Additionally the Viceroy Brasserie in Abbots Langley has been awarded three stars and is making good progress towards improving its hygiene rating.
Councillor Phil Brading, Cabinet Member for Public Services & Health, said
‘Congratulations to Abbots Tandoori on achieving its five star rating. Residents who eat out at restaurants which score highly in the Council’s Scores on the Doors scheme can be confident that the standards of food safety and hygiene are among the very best.’
Celebrate National Curry Week at your local Indian restaurant. National Curry Week, which runs from the 21-27 November, was started in 1998 to promote the cuisine and to raise funds for charities concentrating on hunger, malnourishment and poverty.
