Previous announcements
Formal notice was received from Skanska/Balfour Beatty for the construction of one permanent environmental mitigation bund alongside the M25 adjacent to Junction 20, and one permanent balancing pond to the north of the River Chess, near Chorleywood.
Skanska/Balfour Beatty consider that the works do not require planning permission as they are permitted development allowed by the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order.

The District Council has received formal notice from Skanska/Balfour Beatty of their intention to carry out works in the southeast quadrant of junction 17 of the M25 between Long Lane and the A412 link road (adjacent to the link road and the roundabout junction with Uxbridge Road – see location plan with notice).
The works will comprise a construction compound for the widening and maintenance of the adjacent stretch of the M25 and are expected to be in use from February 2009 until the end of 2011. The full notice may be downloaded below.
