Lucky Library Draw
Date:
01 November 2005
For seven days in November, lucky library users at specially selected libraries will have the opportunity to win tickets to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, at Watersmeet Theatre.
Chorleywood, Croxley Green, Oxhey, Rickmansworth and Abbots Langley Libraries have all entered into the spirit of Christmas and the magic of pantoland with a draw at each library.
Open to adults and children, anyone taking out a book, DVD or using the libraries for Internet access can enter the draw by completing a form at their local library, with their name and library card number. At the end of seven days, each library will draw a completed form from the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Box to find the lucky winner from their library.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stars comedy legend Bernie Clifton and swapping her yellow coat for the Wicked Queen's cloak, Nikki Kelly from BBC's Hi De Hi. Local boy, Nicholas Maude, who starred in Phantom of the Opera, will be the dashing Prince Richard and joining in all the spectacle of this traditional, family pantomime will be Oswald the ostrich, who promises to be a feathered delight for children young and old.
All five libraries in the Three Rivers district also hold regular storytime sessions, study spaces, a home library service and have an extensive range of books, videos and DVDs.
Visit your local library, between Monday 14 to Wednesday 23 November, to ensure your chance of a winning draw!
