Local Development Framework

The Government has introduced radical changes to the planning system and Three Rivers District Council is currently preparing a replacement for the Three Rivers Local Plan. The new plan will be called the Three Rivers Local Development Framework.

The Local Development Framework will consist of:

• Local Development Scheme
• Statement of Community Involvement
• Core Strategy
• Development Management Policies Development Plan Document
• Site Allocations Development Plan Document
• Gypsy and Traveller Development Plan Document
• Supplementary Planning Documents
• Annual Monitoring Report

The Local Development Framework will be informed by an Evidence Base and will also be subject to Sustainability Appraisal.
