The Policy Panel welcomes contributions from members of the public to its discussion on agenda items. Contributions will be limited to one person speaking for and one against each item for not more than three minutes. Please note that, in the event of registering your interest to speak on an agenda item but not taking up that right because the item is deferred, you will automatically be given the right to speak on that item at the next meeting of the Panel. Details of the procedure and the list for registering the wish to speak will be available for a short period before the meeting.

WEST HYDE & MAPLE CROSS COMMUNITY HALL - GRANT OF GROUND LEASE

To consider the grant of a 35 year lease to the Maple Cross Club for the use of the land at Longcroft Road, Maple Cross.

FEEDBACK ON THE RECENT LEISURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The purpose of this report is to update Members on the Mill End Power Football project, the Inclusive Nightclub programme, the Everyday Sport campaign and the Youth Inclusion Support Panel and Video Conferencing.

8.

LEISURE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT CONTRACT EXTENSION - PERFORMANCE REVIEW

This report describes the performance of Hertsmere Leisure in the first year of the Leisure Facilities Management Contract, and makes a recommendation for the extension of the contract to the remaining sites in 2008.

For the Panel to consider a capital grant application from the Barton Way Allotment Association.

LEISURE AND COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATIONS

The Policy Panel is asked to consider the first round of applications from groups and organisations for grant support from the Leisure and Community Grants 2007/08 revenue provision and to recommend accordingly to the Executive Committee.
