Home Composting

Although we offer a kerbside collection of waste that can be composted in the brown bins we would still encourage you to compost at home. This is because the waste does not have to be transported anywhere and it also provides you with free compost for your garden. Three Rivers District Council, in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council operates a subsidised home composting scheme.
