HIGHWAYS & TRANSPORT STRATEGIES AND GUIDANCE UPDATE

 

 

 

The purpose of this report is to advise members about a number of guidance documents which have recently been developed which provide information on how transport schemes are identified, programmed and funded. In addition to this the report will explain changes to the Hertfordshire Speed Management Strategy. These documents have been developed by the Transport, Programmes and Strategies group (TPS) of Hertfordshire Highways.

The purpose of this report is to provide information to Members about the 2009/10 Winter Service Operational Plan and explain the operating principles.

The purpose of this report is to update the panel on the findings of further investigations to improve the highway environment for students and other road users in the vicinity of St Clement Danes School, Chenies Road (A404), Chorleywood.

The purpose of this report is to advise members of the current status of section 106 contributions for the Three Rivers District held by Hertfordshire County Council and to seek member’s comments on the use of funds.
