Expert advice on the most recent housing laws and information about renting property will be on offer at the District Council's Landlords' Forum on Wednesday 18 October.

Rents for one bedroom flats in Three Rivers are typically £600 to £650 per month and the Council is encouraging residents to become landlords by renting their properties to help with the high demand for local housing.

The informal evening will include wine and light refreshments and an opportunity to swap notes with other local landlords and estate agents.

Information will also be available on free inspections to ensure that properties meet health and safety legislation as well the Council's free deposit guarentee scheme which provides referrals and deposits to landlords for local tenants in receipt of benefits.

The event will start at 6:30pm at Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth.
