Now booking on -line!

Customers can now book for events at Watersmeet on-line. Our new 24 hour box office is selling tickets for events where Watersmeet is running the box office on behalf of a hirer and for the traditional family pantomime Aladdin.

Tickets are allocated on a best available basis, starting from the front of the auditorium. You can decide whether to join our mailing list and keep up to date with what's on and either have your tickets posted out or left at the Box Office for collection.
There are no booking fees for any events at Watersmeet but if you book on-line there will be an additional £2 transaction fee.

Watersmeet Box Office is open for telephone bookings and personal callers from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Fridayand 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. The Box Office telephone number is 01923 711063.

Aladdin Panto Party



See some of the cast from this year's family pantomime Aladdin on the Watersmeet stage in this pre-season party!
Blue Peter legend Peter Duncan, The Citrus Brothers and Widow Twankey will present a taster of what's to come, followed by a screening of the Disney Aladdin animation. This is a free event but tickets must be booked in advance with the Box Office on 01923 711 063.

The Tony award-winning Broadway production of Hairspray is brought back to life in this new film. Featuring new and original material based on John Waters’ 1988 cult classic about star-struck teenagers on a local Baltimore dance show, the comedy features a remarkable collection of talent including John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer and Christopher Walken. Set in 1962, the film follows teenager Tracey Turnblad as she simultaneously pursues stardom as a dancer on a local TV show and rallies against racial segregation.

The Band of the Lifeguards.Show your support for this year's Poppy Appeal by coming along to a special Hertfordshire Festival of Remembrance featuring Her Majesty's Band of the Life Guards (famous for their use of trumpets and kettledrums) who have kindly agreed to perform in aid of this year's Poppy Appeal.  The concert will start with a civic procession and a muster of Royal British Legion and service association Standards followed by a selection of music performed by The Band of the Life Guards.  Also performing in the concert will be Harpenden Pipe Band and Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir.  This year is the 90th anniversary of WW1 and the RAF so expect the music to be both exciting and a moving tribute to the fallen.
