Watford and Three Rivers Fairtrade Directory launched

Fairtrade came to Rickmansworth last week with the launch of the Watford and Three Rivers Fairtrade Directory at Waitrose on Tuesday, 23rd February, coinciding with national Fairtrade Fortnight.
A video of the Directory launch event can be seen here, with speeches from Councillor Ann Shaw, Watford Mayor Dorothy Thornhill, Three Rivers Fairtrade Group leader Jane Brading and other organisers.
The Directory lists shops, cafes, schools and other organisations who sell Fairtrade products in the Watford and Three Rivers areas.
Since 1994 the Fairtrade Mark has been a consumer guarantee for products that help producers in developing countries get a better deal from international trade.
