Double Trouble! Big pants colouring competition winners announced

Cinderella has been left to hang out all the washing again!

Only this time it’s in the Watersmeet foyer as hundreds of pairs of pants covered with everything from glitter and tinsel to fabric and faux for Watersmeet’s annual colouring competition inviting children from schools around the district to get into the panto mood.

This year the competition was to design two pairs of pants for the Ugly Sisters and the quality of entries received was outstanding.

After a lengthy selection process, Dean Horner and Oliver Gray, Cinderella’s Ugly Sisters, picked Emma Sullivan from Carpenders Park (10 years) and Emily Game from Chorleywood (5 years) as the winners.

Each family was given a family ticket to see the show and meet the cast, but the highlight for young winners was actually seeing their creations made into life size pants and worn in the opening scene of the panto by the Uglies!

Cinderella family pantomime is playing at Watersmeet, Rickmansworth 7-31 December at Watersmeet. Prices and availability can be found online or call the box office on 01923 711063.
