The Council is managed by the Chief Executive and two Service Directors.  There are four departments in the Council:

Corporate Resources and Governance
Comprising Accountancy, Corporate Services, Customer Services Centre, Democratic Services, Exchequer Services, ICT, Legal and Personnel.

Community and Environmental Services
Comprising Building Control, Development Management, Development Plans, Environmental Health, Environmental Protection, Housing Needs & Resources, Leisure and Community Services and Sustainability.
