The Council is managed by the Chief Executive and two Service Directors.  There are four departments in the Council:

Corporate Resources and Governance
Comprising Accountancy, Customer Services Centre, Democratic Services, Exchequer Services, ICT, Legal and Performance Management & Scrutiny.

Community and Environmental Services
Comprising Building Control, Development Control, Development Plans, Environmental Health, Environmental Protection, Housing Needs & Resources, Leisure and Community Services and Sustainability.
