Decision Making Process

Decisions are made by various Committees and by the Full Council.

The Members' Information Bulletin is published monthly.

The Key Decisions Timetable indicates when key decisions are to be made by the Executive Committee of the Council.

Councillors must register and disclose Discloseable Pecuniary Interests and Other Interests, the description of which are set out in the Code.  Go to the Register of Member Interests page to see the Registers.

Councillors are paid a basic allowance and Members with special responsibilities also receive an additional payment.  Go to the Members' Allowances page to view current and previous allowances paid to Members.
