Council Performance

Three Rivers District Council’s long-held vision is that the district should remain a prosperous, safe and healthy place where people want and are able to live and work.  The Council has the following priorities for the period 2012-15: 

1. Safety and wellbeing – working with our partners to make the district a safer place, providing a safe and healthy environment, reducing health inequalities, promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting learning and community organisations.

2. Clean and green – maintaining a high quality local environment and reducing the eco-footprint of the district.

3. Economic opportunities – working in partnership to promote the economic prospects for all our communities.

4. Customer Service – delivering services to a standard that meets the needs and expectations of all of our customers and providing exemplary value for money.
