Community Safety
The Three Rivers Community Safety Partnership works together to prevent and reduce crime and disorder, the Partnership is made up of:
Three Rivers District Council,
Hertfordshire Constabulary,
Hertfordshire County Council,
West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust,
Hertfordshire Police Authority,
Herts Fire and Rescue Service
Hertfordshire Probation Service
In November 2007 the partnership produced a strategic assessment document to help it identify local priorities for action.

DOWNLOADUsing this assessment the partnership developed the following priority areas for action
- Reducing crime – particularly the following:
- Tackling Criminal Damage
- Tackling Theft from a vehicle
- Reducing Burglary
- Reducing Violent Crime including Domestic Violence and Hate Crime
- Tackling Theft of a Pedal Cycle
- Tackling Anti Social Behaviour – particularly in hotspot areas such as South Oxhey and Maple Cross
- Tackling Under age drinking – particularly in hotspots such as Mill End, Leavesden and Northwick
- Managing PPOs and ASBOs
- Tackling the fear of crime
