Three Rivers Community Safety PartnershipThe Three Rivers Community Safety Partnership works together to prevent and reduce crime and disorder, the Partnership is made up of: 

Three Rivers District Council,
Hertfordshire Constabulary,
Hertfordshire County Council
West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust,
Hertfordshire Police Authority
Herts Fire and Rescue Service
Hertfordshire Probation Service

In November 2007 the partnership produced a strategic assessment document to help it identify local priorities for action.

  • Reducing crime – particularly the following:
  • Tackling Criminal Damage
  • Tackling Theft from a vehicle
  • Reducing Burglary
  • Reducing Violent Crime including Domestic Violence and Hate Crime
  • Tackling Theft of a Pedal Cycle
  • Tackling Anti Social Behaviour – particularly in hotspot areas such as South Oxhey and Maple Cross
  • Tackling Under age drinking – particularly in hotspots such as Mill End, Leavesden and Northwick
  • Managing PPOs and ASBOs
  • Tackling the fear of crime

Q - How can I find out who my local Police Officer is?  

A - You can find out who your local Neighbourhood Officer is by looking on the Hertfordshire Constabulary website and finding the Safer Neighbourhoods 'Meet your Team' page.

Q - How can I find out what local community safety projects are running in my area?

A - You can view the Three Rivers Community Safety Action Plan which includes the details of local projects (see above on this page).

Q - How can I apply for a home security survey on my home?

A - West Herts Against Crime are a local charity which offer home security surveys and improvements as well as a minor repairs service. They can be contacted on 01923 801138 or email whacoffice@btconnect.com

Q - How can I apply for funding to run a community based community safety project?

A - You can download the local Mobile Police Station timetable from the Hertfordshire Constabulary website.

A - To view local crime statistics for your local neighbourhood area please view the Hertfordshire Constabulary Safer Neighbourhoods website.  Once you enter your post code or area you can view the 'Local Crime Statistics' at the bottom of the page.
