The Community Leisure Team work to identify need, promote opportunity and provide a range of sport, art, play and health activities for adults children and young people in the local community.

Some of the courses and activities delivered by the Community Leisure Team include:

Mill End Youth Project
Multi sports and leisure activities for young people aged 10+ at the Shepherds Day Centre, Middleton Road, Mill End every Friday evening between 6.00pm-7.30pm.

After School Art Club

Art and craft sessions for 7-11year olds at Maple Cross JMI School. Tuesday afternoons from 3.30pm - 5.00pm during term times.

Fit 4 Fun
Working in partnership with local primary schools and West Hertfordshire NHS School Health Service to increase physical activity and reduce childhood obesity through healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

Herts Youth Games
The Herts Youth Games event takes place every May at Herts Sports Village. Young people between the ages of 7 and 19 years from Primary, Secondary and Special Schools represent Three Rivers District Council in a wide variety of sports.
Learning 4 Leisure
Learning 4 Leisure is training and education programme which provides opportunities for local residents to access training courses and gain accredited qualifications in sports coaching awards e.g. National Pool Lifeguarding, Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football, Trampolining and Cheerleading. For more information contact Hannah Henson on 01923 727144.
