change issues that effect you.

Climate change has been referred to as the biggest threat we have ever
faced. It is, however, rarely thought of as an opportunity.
To make surfing the net and looking for the right information easier, the
Council has developed a one-stop-shop website providing among other
interactive maps of nature walks and cycle paths, list of eco-friendly
materials and renewable energy technology, location of recycling depots,
information on gardening and organic or fairtrade food and a comprehensive
list of links supported by fast search engine.
New Youth Section
We would like to announce the new Youth Section to the Our Climate is Changing website called Adult free Zone. Designed especially for children and teenagers to be able to learn about looking after the environment.
RIC the Robot will promote an understanding of recycling in a fun and interactive way, by guiding young people through the recycling of everyday rubbish. Youngsters who join RIC should beware of putting their rubbish in any old bin, as it could end up in landfill! Those interested in fun facts should check out the Randomiser 3000, which generates fact after fact we bet you didn't know before.
Recycling Projects Officer Jennie Moore, said of the exciting new features: "We believe that educating our young residents to recycle will help towards cutting down on the waste that is sent to landfill".
Interactive House
We have tried to make surfing even easier by designing an interactive house
under ‘Greener Living’, summarising the main areas within our homes that
savings could be made financially and environmentally. Take a look!
