I have been a liberal democrat councillor for Langleybury ward since 1999.  The area includes Hunton Bridge, parts of Abbots Langley including the Hillside estate, Furtherfield and Shirley Road areas.  I have lived in Hunton Bridge since 1985, with my wife and two children.

I am currently a member of the Council's executive with responsibility for Leisure and Community, and also sit on the Development Control (Planning) committee.

My career has been in the hotel, pub and restaurant industry. For many years I was also a governor of a private school in Hampshire.  I am also a director of a small consultancy company.
