The Aquadrome covers 100 acres and consists of lakes, grassland and woodland and is an ideal place for walks. At the centre of the Aquadrome are three lakes, formed by the extraction of the gravel used in the construction of the original Wembley Stadium:

• Batchworth Lake is fished during the open season and is also the home of the water-skiing club.
• Bury Lake is used for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing.
• Stockers Lake is a bird and wildlife sanctuary owned by Three Valleys Water and managed by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. "Friends of Stockers Lake" can be contacted on 01923 778106.

The Aquadrome is open 365 days of the year and there is no admission charge.
